Survey seeks views on roads policing

Road users across Essex are being encouraged to share their views on the importance of roads policing.

The survey has been launched by the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs).

The results of the survey will be fed into the Department for Transport call for evidence about roads policing.

Launched in July, the review aims to help stakeholders better understand how enforcement can be utilised to reduce road casualties.

The Association of PCCs hopes the survey will allow PCCs to advocate the strength of public feeling to make roads safer – and give the Government the evidence it needs to act.
