SERP to recruit new Bikeability instructors

The Safer Essex Roads Partnership has launched a recruitment drive for new Bikeability instructors.

Hilary Wicks, Lead Road Safety Officer for Cycling, said: “We are looking for competent and passionate cyclists, who enjoy working with other people and sharing their skills and enthusiasm. You must be willing to travel throughout Essex and be prepared to work in all weather conditions.

“This is a very rewarding role with our instructors receiving the opportunity to encourage learners to be fit, healthy and environment friendly all during a fun activity. You will be delivering positive skills that our learners will be equipped with for the rest of their lives.

“We have roles available for both qualified instructors and unqualified, as we can provide full training.”
